4. The Food Factory

The Food Factory is located in Grand Baie on Sottise Road. If you want to sample some of the most excellent food at a very reasonable price, even though it's a little beyond the major tourist area, it's still worth going there.

The Food Factory has only been operating for a little over a year, yet it is already establishing itself as one of Grand Baie's top eateries. This is mostly because they provide high-quality meals while taking the healthy aspect into account. For instance, they distinguish themselves from other fast-food restaurants by serving the majority of their meals with a mild garlic sauce.

With several lovely artworks on the walls and tables and chairs made from repurposed wooden crates, the restaurant has a rustic feel. Both inside and outside of the restaurant, there are many places to sit. There is also a little fire pit with a few benches in the back. The bus station is located about five minutes' walk away, and they also have a sizable parking lot that has room for over 100 cars.

They have a wide selection of food on their menu, including pizza, burgers, falafel, chicken or lamb wraps, and falafel. You can choose from soft drinks, fruit juices, or coffees as drinks, and you can end the meal with desserts like brownies or carrot cake. On Fridays and Saturdays, chicken or beef briani are also available.

Overall, the service was swift and effective; the entire process took less than 10 minutes. I can't speak highly enough of The Meals Factory if you're searching for a cheap restaurant that delivers high-quality and healthful food.

7. La Kaza

For its fresh and vibrant fish, La Kaza is a popular dining destination in Grand Bay. It is a location where seafood enthusiasts can have an experience. It has a nice view, and the live music atmosphere perfectly captures the vibe.

They have very fresh food (caught on the day). Food could be ordered based on weight, and every item on the menu was described. We decided to have a grilled plate of our favorite seafood. We were not let down! The rock cod fish was perfectly prepared. Everything tasted excellent and the separate dishes were prepared with the sides we requested. The staff is really welcoming and accommodating. Worth the wait, we are.

8. Kogi Kogi Korean BBQ Restaurant

I heartily recommend Kogi Kogi Korean BBQ restaurant if you're seeking for one of the top Korean restaurants in Grand Baie. Every item at Kogi Kogi oozes flavor, whether it be the mandu (lightly fried dumplings), chicken tanggsuyuk (sweet and sour chicken), jja jang myeon (noodles in black bean sauce), or yaksik (rice cake). I left the restaurant with a renewed enthusiasm for Korean cuisine.

You can prepare your own barbecued meat on an electric grill that is built into each table and has a retractable hood fastened to the ceiling. You will immediately feel at ease because of the background soothing Korean music, which also transports you to that country. To keep the kids occupied while you enjoy your lunch, they also feature a separate kids' room with lots of toys and books.

The bibimbap (mixed rice with chicken, beef, octopus, or tofu), bulgogi, samgyupsal (grilled pork belly), mandu (Korean style dumplings), and dosiraks are just a few of the authentic Korean foods available on the menu at Kogi Kogi Korean BBQ restaurant (Korean meal box). They also provide a few vegetarian options.

There was very little waiting time between dishes, and the service was excellent. In Grand Baie, Kogi Kogi is unquestionably one of the best restaurants.

Along Vingt Pieds road, the restaurant is situated on the first level. There is lots of parking available in front and behind the restaurant if you're arriving by car.

9. O’Thai

Visit the O'Thai restaurant in the La Croisette mall for real Thai cuisine. They offer all the standard fare, including satay, tom yum, pad thai, and Thai green curry. I ordered the chicken and shrimp pad thai, which was eerily similar to the Thai food I had there.

The ample servings of chicken, shrimp, and tofu were combined with the rice noodles, and the sprinkle of peanuts gave this traditional Thai meal a satisfying crunch. You may absolutely savor your favorite Thai cuisine without leaving Mauritius for less than Rs 200 (US$ 4.70).

10. Tipo Grill

I suggest dining at Tipo Grill if you're looking for a cheap restaurant in Grand Baie. They offer a wide variety of grilled meat at incredibly low prices. Nearly everything on their menu costs less than Rs 200 (US$ 4.70), including paninis, sandwiches, and hamburgers.

I ate the crispy chicken wrap, which only cost Rs 115 (2.70 USD). The wrap was loaded with tons of vegetables, including carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, lettuce, and cheese, as well as a large number of crispy chicken pieces.

Although the restaurant isn't very large, the back includes a modest seating space. If you're in the mood for a late-night snack, you know where to go because they are open until 2 a.m. It's a terrific spot to eat in Grand Baie on a cheap, with the parking lot being the major drawback.

12. Grill and Chill

Getting praise from your peers can make a big difference, especially in the fiercely competitive world of cooking. So when a seasoned local baker and caterer recommends Grill & Chill as one of the top restaurants in the Grand Baie region and raves about the food, you want to go and check it out for yourself.

Their claim to fame is that they provide the best barbecue in Pereybere, and reviews back up this claim. The lamb chops, for instance, are slow-grilled on the BBQ after marinating for 24 hours. For vegetarians, the shrimp tempura at Grill & Chill comes in second. Except for Sunday, Grill & Chill is open every day.

13. Banana Grill

A nice spot to go for supper and a night out is The Banana Grill. Everyone can find something they want to eat, and the atmosphere is unmatched. The staff is always accommodating, and the live music is a nice addition.

The only drawback (or benefit) is that as the night wears on, the atmosphere can start to seem a little festive, but that just adds to the enjoyment! In general, this is among the greatest spots in town for a night out. Visit Banana Grill if you're looking for one of North Mauritius' greatest dining establishments. You won't be let down!

14. Les Canisses Resto & Plage

Les Canisses Resto & Plage is the best restaurant in North Mauritius if you're searching for one. Les Canisses, which is situated on the edge of Grand Baie's picturesque bay, serves mouthwatering French, seafood, and Mediterranean cuisine as well as breathtaking sunset views.

Les Canisses is the ideal location whether you're searching for a place to have a few drinks or a light lunch. Additionally, there are options for vegetarians and vegans, so everyone can find something. So make sure to visit Les Canisses Resto & Plage the next time you're in Grand Baie. 15. GoYuYu

GoYuYu restaurant in Grand Baie offers some of the most reasonably priced and delectable Korean cuisine, and is situated inside the recently refurbished Food Pavilion at La Croisette mall. They are well renowned for its ramen noodles, Korean fried chicken, and bibimbap (mixed veggies and meat eaten with rice).

Chicken bites and mandu are just a couple of the beginning options at GoYuYu. I chose the steamed Korean dumplings known as shrimp and kimchi mandu, which are stuffed with a variety of veggies and either shrimp or kimchi. The shrimp mandu was not hot at all, but the kimchi mandu was. Both were incredibly tasty and light, melting in the mouth almost instantly.

Their main dishes typically cost between Rs 150 and 450 (US$ 3.50 and 10.50), while their appetizers and snacks start at Rs 100 (US$ 2.30). It took less than 15 minutes to be served, and the personnel was quite polite.

You will have plenty of space to park your car at GoYuYu because it is a part of La Croisette Mall, and the bus stop is right outside the entrance to the shopping center. The Delivery Dodo app gives you the option of ordering food delivery as well.
