  • 3 tiny jalapenos
  • 1 water cup
  • 1 cup sugar, granulated

  1. First, get your jalapenos ready. Slice the stems after removing them.

  2. Water should be added to a small pot. Once the water starts to boil, heat it until it does.

  3. Granulated sugar should be added and constantly stirred until completely dissolved.

  4. the thinly sliced jalapenos Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for ten minutes.

  5. After cooling to ambient temperature, transfer the mixture into a different container. If you prefer a simple syrup with a milder flavor, strain the mixture through a sieve; otherwise, leave the jalapenos in if you prefer a strong kick. For convenient storage, I like to pour my simple syrup into mason jars.

  1. Start your drink in a shaker or jar; as long as it has a lid, it will work. Place the ice, lime juice, tequila, and jalapeno simple syrup in a shaker or jar.

  2. Lock the lid in place and shake to blend the flavors.

  3. Wet the glass rim with a wedge of lime.

  4. On a large dish, sprinkle salt. To coat the glass's rim, dip it into the salt.

  5. Put ice in the glass slowly. Shake the mixture, then strain it into the glass.

  6. Sparkle water with lime on top.

  7. Serve after adding a lime wedge and a jalapeno slice as garnish!
