Rasgulla is a sweet and very tasty dessert which is one of the favorite food of Mauritian people. Rasgulla is specially served in occasion such as Diwali, engagements and many other festivals. It do take some time to be prepared, but once it's done, it would definitely worth the time.

✓ 1 cup milk

✓ 2 tsp flour

✓ 2 tsp ghee

✓ 2 pinch baking powder

✓ 1 pinch cardamom

✓ Mix with liquid milk

✓ Syrup

✓ 2 cups water

✓ 1 cup sugar

✓ Pinch of cardamom powder


• Make a smooth dough and small balls (lemon size) and fry on very low heat until golden brown. VERY LOW HEAT.

• Make syrup in advanced by using 2 cups of sugar and 3 cups of water along with 5 green cardamom. Let it cool down.

• Add the fried balls to the syrup and let soak for about 3 hours.
